This 8-day itinerary starts in Casablanca with a transfer to Rabat, where you’ll visit the Kasbah Oudayas and Hassan Tower before heading to Chefchaouen, the blue city. Day two takes you from Chefchaouen to Fes, stopping at the Roman ruins in Volubilis and exploring Meknes. On day three, you’ll discover Fes’s historic medina and visit Ifrane and the Cedar Forest before overnighting in Midelt. Day four involves traveling to Merzouga for a camel ride and night in a desert camp. Day five includes visits to Rissani and the Todra Gorges, with an overnight stay in Dades Valley. On day six, you'll explore Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou before arriving in Marrakech. The final days feature a guided tour of Marrakech's highlights before transferring to the airport for departure.
Begin your private tour in Casablanca with a pick-up from the airport, followed by a drive to Rabat, the political capital of Morocco, located on the Atlantic coast at the mouth of the Bou Regreg River, opposite Sale. Your first stop will be the Kasbah Oudayas, followed by the impressive Hassan Tower, which dates back to 1185 and originally aimed to reach 88 meters but was mostly destroyed by an earthquake in 1755. Right across from the tower is the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a significant modern monument in Morocco. Afterward, you’ll continue to Ouezzane, a city regarded as holy by many Moroccan Jews, who come to visit the tomb of the marabout Moul Anrha (Rabbi Imran Ben Diwan) from the 18th century. Finally, you’ll conclude your day in the charming blue city of Chefchaouen, where you can relax for the evening at your Riad or hotel.

After enjoying breakfast, we’ll depart from Chefchaouen and make our way to Fez. During this leg of your Casablanca private tour, you’ll travel through the stunning Rif Mountains and into the Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll take some time to explore the Roman ruins at Volubilis before stopping in Meknes for lunch. Once in Meknes, you’ll have the chance to discover its fascinating attractions. After the tour, we’ll continue on to Fez, where you can relax for the evening at your Riad or hotel.

Today, you’ll have the chance to explore Fez, the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. A knowledgeable local guide will lead you through its two historic medinas, with Fez el Bali being the larger one, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981. You’ll discover many remarkable sites, including Al Qarawiyin, established in 859 AD, which is the oldest continuously operating madrasa in existence. Don’t miss the ancient tanneries, where you can see craftsmen creating traditional Moroccan slippers, wallets, and other leather goods. After wandering through the bustling souks of the old city, you’ll drive to Ifrane, known as Morocco’s coldest city and often likened to Switzerland for its architecture and winter snowfall. Continuing through the Middle Atlas Mountains, you’ll visit the cedar forest in Azrou at an elevation of 3,940 feet, where you can feed the endangered Barbary macaques. You’ll spend the night at a hotel in Midelt, covering a distance of 200 km (124 miles).
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll set off for Merzouga, passing through Errachidia and Erfoud. Your journey will take you along the stunning Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, where you can enjoy views of the High Atlas plateau. As you near Errachidia, you’ll start to see the landscape shift towards the desert. Here, you’ll stop for lunch and experience warm Berber hospitality. Continuing along the lush Ziz Valley, you’ll pause for some breathtaking panoramic views before reaching Erfoud. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll be greeted with a refreshing glass of mint tea. Then, you’ll embark on a camel ride to spend the night at a desert camp, complete with traditional Berber music. The total distance for this leg of the journey is 272 km (169 miles).
After breakfast, you will return by camel to the 4x4s and head back to Erfoud. From Erfoud you set out behind the High Atlas Mountains on route to the Todra Gorges. In the afternoon, you will take a walk up in the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high). The picturesque river valleys make for a beautiful journey towards the southeast of Morocco. Then continue your journey towards another impressive gorge Dades passing the strange rock creation of Tamnalt Hills. Overnight right in the Dades Gorge lined by the red and mauve rock .Overnight in hotel Dades Valley.

After an early breakfast you will set off towards the High Atlas Mountains via Ouarzazate. Tucked away in the High Atlas Mountains, it is one of the jewels of Morocco…Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. In typical Moroccan fashion, the true treasures must be searched out and discovered…usually off the beaten path. In actuality, this setting has been used for more films than any other location in Morocco; films including, Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, and recently The Gladiator. Lunch can be taken at Ait Ben Haddou.
In the afternoon, you will head over the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Overnight in riad.

After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (market) lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco . free evening and dinner night in riad.
